Zara vest, Noble tank, Trouve silk trousers, Zara heels, vintage clutch, jewelry from F21 & H&M
Here's the outfit I wore to the Intern Queen Party several weeks back, where I met some of the most amazing girls ever. Turns out you can layer and still stay cool in the summer heat. Sorta. I've learned firsthand that summers in NYC are not for the faint of heart and certainly not for the perspiration prone. The subway stations instantly become saunas, and for that matter, silk trousers are my salvation.
I've also learned that walking through Times Square really brings out the roadrage LA driver in me. But instead of four wheels, I'm maneuvering stilettos around subway vents.
So jealous that you have New York as your backdrop :)
ReplyDeleteLove your vest, and great pairing with the pants, too!
I agree with Joanne! You're so luckkyy you live in NY. I would dieee. All I have are cactuses & deserts where I live. It's so blah. Great pictures though! I love that white vest & blue clutch you have!

Love, love, love your shoes! I keep kicking myself for not getting them at Zara when they were still available T__T
ReplyDeleteHeehee, thank you!
ReplyDeleteHahah thank you! Yeah these heels are wonderful. They've taken quite a beating though!
ReplyDeleteBut cactuses and deserts make for awesome photoshoots!
ReplyDelete:( I saw the nude and orange ones on-sale for $30 online for a little bit. You should get the low heel, pointed toe black ones they have now. Super comfortable, and so cute!
ReplyDeleteHaha I remember feeling the exact same way when I went to NY!
ReplyDeleteYou really feel like you're raging through the streets as a pedestrian esp with all the aggressive walkers jaywalking without a second thought!
You look so stylish and effortless!
Hope you had fun at the Intern Queen party! I remember when she came to speak at UCLA.
